Interview with Professor Robert McMeeking (Biography)

Robert M. McMeeking is a Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Enviromental Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, USA, and a Sixth Century Chair in Engineering Materials, School of Engineering, University of Aberdeen, UK.

Professor McMeeking is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, a Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering. He delivered the Keynote Lecture "The generation of stress in the storage particles of lithium-ion batteries" (Lecture Abstract), at the 1st International Symposium on Energy Challenges and Mechanics in Session 03 on Energy Storage.
