Biography

Chadwick Dearing "Chad" Oliver is the Pinchot Professor of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University, and Director of Yale's Global Institute of Sustainable Forestry. He delivered the Keynote Lecture "Fossil Fuel Energy Savings, Carbon Sequestration, and Biodiversity Conservation through Innovative Wood Construction and Diverse Forest Management" (Lecture Abstract), at the 2nd International Symposium on Energy Challenges and Mechanics, Session 06: SUSTAINABLE ENERGY.
